TrailtextAI ("TrailtextAI", "we", "us") provides an AI assistant you reach by text message,
designed for use in the backcountry over cellular or satellite texting. This
policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It is operated by

Some information may persist temporarily in encrypted backups or in service
providers' logs in accordance with their retention policies.
We protect your data with one-time-passcode phone verification, encrypted
transport (HTTPS/TLS), hashed verification codes, and access controls. No system
is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA in California), you
may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your data, and to
not be discriminated against for exercising them. You can delete your data in the
app at any time, or contact us at [your-support-email]. We do not sell personal
information.
TrailtextAI is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 (or the age of
digital consent in your country, e.g. 16 in parts of the EEA) to use it, and an
adult to make purchases.
We operate in the United States. If you use TrailtextAI from outside the U.S., your
information will be processed in the U.S.
We may update this policy. We'll revise the "Last updated" date and, for
material changes, provide reasonable notice.
